Mufti Muhammad ibn Adam al-Kawthari is a British Islamic scholar from Leicester, UK. He memorized the Qur’an at a young age and studied traditional Islamic sciences at Dar al-Uloom in Bury, UK. He continued his advanced studies under renowned scholars such as Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani in Pakistan and Shaykh Abd al-Razzaq al-Halabi in Syria. He is the Director of the Institute of Islamic Jurisprudence (Darul Iftaa) in Leicester and has authored works on Islamic law, family life, and ethics.

The Hilal Council of Canada has received verified sightings of the new moon. Thus, the first day of Ramadan will be on Saturday, March 1st, 2025. The first night of Taraweeh will be tonight, Friday February 28th, 2025.

We are excited to announce that IPC will be hosting Taraweeh prayers tonight, starting at 8 PM after Isha salah, InshāAllāh.
We will have two sets of Taraweeh prayers:
1. The first set will continue throughout the entire month of Ramadan, located in the main Masjid Hall.
2. The second set will be for the first 10 days of Ramadan, located in the basement after Isha salah, InshāAllāh.
